Episode 1 - Sport and pregnancy
Doing sport during pregnancy is highly recommended for active women. Throughout the 9 months you can take part in physical activity to feel good, keep fit, and above all, prepare your body for birth. However, every pregnancy is different, and training should be adapted to each person and their condition. In this episode, Emelie shares her experiences during pregnancy and how she planned and managed her training, based on how she was feeling and the medical advice she was given.
Episode 2 - First trimester, changes
During the first trimester, changes to your body are not yet entirely visible, so it’s a good time to begin preparing yourself actively for pregnancy. In this episode, Emelie describes how she learned to listen to her body, how she worked towards strengthening and stabilising it, and how she prepared herself to withstand the weight of the baby.
Episode 3 - Second trimester, time to enjoy
During the second trimester the body is more stable, and for many women it is a good moment, in terms of energy, to take part in a wide variety of physical activities. In this episode, Emelie shares her experiences of her second trimester, in which she spent a lot of time being active outdoors and practising sports such as ski mountaineering and hiking. She also explains how she established a strong emotional connection with her baby.
Episode 4 -Third trimester, preparing for childbirdh
During the third trimester, the body prepares itself for birth. Mother and baby have almost reached the peak of the mountain and now all that’s left is to enjoy the final stretch. In this episode, Emelie explains how she noticed many changes in her body during the last part of her pregnancy and how staying active helped to strengthen her emotionally, preparing herself for the best experience of her life.
